Chujachen
is a small and beautiful village next to Kewzing village near Ravangla in South Sikkim. It can be reached by drive nearly 76 kms southwest of Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. It
is typical village of Sikkimese ethnic people. It is only 15 minutes to 25
minutes walk from kewzing bazaar. It can be excess by taxi in 10 minutes. This hamlet
is resided by few Lepcha families and Bhutia families. It has quite silence
place and gives magnificent view of Mount Pandim and Mount Kabrue in Kanchenjunga range of great Himalaya.
Small householders are very friendly and hospitable. They are living far from
modern day facilities though, they can help visitors a chance to rejuvenate and
relax from tired modern day life. It can act as retreat for visitors. They can make visitors rejoice by allowing you in many fairs and festivals and can enjoy making many locale dishes like momos etc..
Chujachen village is surrounded
by many monasteries situated near and distance, which create great vibration spiritual feelings. This tiny village one caters
many shrines like Kewzing Monastery, Mangbrue Monastery, Bonn Monastery
Shiva Temple and many Chortens. Many legends and histories are lying hidden behind
this Chortens and monasteries. It will be worth stay at Chujachen Village.
